South Pasadena Cawston Ostrich Farm, where strange birds made sawbucks

Watch this slick, little documentary about the ostrich farm that helped put South Pasadena on the map. Located near railroad tracks for tourists, and close to the rebuilt Raymond Hotel, it was a feather factory, visitor attraction and curiosity rolled into one. In my new book, Arroyo, this is where my protagonist works until it all goes terribly wrong ... in a terribly right sort of arc.
